प्राइम इंडिया मीडिया हाउस के संस्थापक नासिर खान मूलरूप से उत्तर प्रदेश के इलाहाबाद (प्रयागराज) के रहने वाले हैं इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से वर्ष 1994 में इन्होंने लॉ ग्रेजुएशन किया और फिर यही इलाहाबाद से प्रकाशित अखबार अमृत प्रभात से जुड़े रहे। नब्बे के दशक में दिल्ली आ गए और फिर यहां अमर उजाला जैसे अखबारों में क्राइम और केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय की बीट संभाला। मौजूदा वक्त में आज तक टीवी चैनल कभी दूरदर्शन पर आधे घंटे का प्रोग्राम हुआ करता था उस वक्त इन्होंने "आज तक" में भी अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। दिल्ली से प्रसारित लाइव इंडिया टीवी चैनल में नेशनल क्राइम हेड रहे। इससे पहले स्टार न्यूज़ के बहुचर्चित क्राइम शो "सनसनी" के शुरुआती दौर से नेशनल ब्यूरो चीफ रहे। अपने अथक प्रयास और टीमवर्क से सनसनी को इन्होंने ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाया,जिसकी वजह से सनसनी देश का नंबर वन क्राइम शो बना। यही नहीं इस क्राइम शो को एक मिशन के तहत चलाया। अपराधों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए खुफिया कैमरे के जरिए भारी तादाद में स्टिंग ऑपरेशन कराया और समाज के दुश्मनों को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे पहुंचाया। चूंकि इन्होंने प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक दोनों ही मीडिया के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका अदा की, इसलिए इन्हें दोनों ही माध्यमों का व्यापक ज्ञान है। मीडिया क्षेत्र में कुछ खास करने के उद्देश्य से करीब 15 साल पहले इन्होंने क्राइम न्यूज़ का एकमात्र वेब पोर्टल primecrimeindia.com लॉन्च किया। देश की राजधानी दिल्ली आधारित इस न्यूज़ पोर्टल से मिली अपार सफलता के बाद राजनीतिक न्यूज़ पोर्टल netaindia.com की शुरुआत की। इसके साथ ही न्यूज़ पत्रिका के क्षेत्र में भी कदम रखा और हिंदी मासिक पत्रिका प्राइम स्पेक्टेटर को बाजार में उतारा। करीब 14 साल पहले शुरू की गई इस पत्रिका की लोकप्रियता बढ़ती जा रही है।
करीब 1 साल पहले पब्लिक सेक्टर अंडरटेकिंग अर्थात पीएसयू के लिए यूट्यूब चैनल PSU today की शुरुआत की है, जिसके परिणाम भी अच्छे आने लगे हैं। इन सारे कामों के मद्देनजर सरकार और समाज के लिए सेमिनार के माध्यम से अपनी बातों को सब जगह पहुंचाने का कार्य भी शुरू कर दिया है। नई दिल्ली के कांस्टीट्यूशन क्लब में 22 नवंबर 2024 को आयोजित सेमिनार में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री जनरल वीके सिंह मौजूद रहे तो वहीं अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रेस दिवस 3 मई 2025 के मौके पर प्रेस क्लब ऑफ़ इंडिया में आयोजित सेमिनार में मुख्य अतिथि जस्टिस सुधीर अग्रवाल और विशेष अतिथि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री व सांसद जगदंबिका पाल मौजूद रहे। जबकि 16 सितंबर 2025 को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के जन्मदिन की पूर्ण संध्या पर नई दिल्ली के कांस्टीट्यूशन क्लब में आयोजित सेमिनार में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल महामहिम शिव प्रताप शुक्ला और विशेष अतिथि के रूप में सांसद जगदंबिका पाल मौजूद थे।
Nasir Khan, the founder of Prime India Media House, is originally from Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh. He completed his law graduation from Allahabad University in 1994 and then worked with Amrit Prabhat, a newspaper published from Allahabad. In the 1990s, he moved to Delhi and covered crime and the Ministry of Home Affairs beat for newspapers like Amar Ujala. He also made significant contributions to Aaj Tak TV channel, which was then a half-hour program on Doordarshan. He served as the National Crime Head at the Delhi-based Live India TV channel. Before that, he was the National Bureau Chief for the popular crime show "Sansani" on Star News from its inception. Through his tireless efforts and teamwork, he took Sansani to great heights, making it the number one crime show in the country. He ran this crime show with a mission, conducting numerous sting operations using hidden cameras to curb crime and bring criminals to justice.
Having played a significant role in both print and electronic media, he possesses extensive knowledge of both media. With the aim of doing something unique in the media field, about 15 years ago, he launched wwwprimecrimeindia.com, a web portal exclusively for crime news. Following the immense success of this Delhi-based news portal, he launched the political news portal www.netaindia.com. He also ventured into the magazine industry and launched the Hindi monthly magazine Prime Spectator. This magazine, started about 14 years ago, is steadily gaining popularity.
About a year ago, he launched the YouTube channel PSU Today for Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), which is also showing promising results. In addition to all these endeavors, he has also started conducting seminars to disseminate his views to the government and society at large. At a seminar held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi on November 22, 2024, Union Minister General VK Singh was present as the chief guest. Similarly, at a seminar organized at the Press Club of India on the occasion of International Press Day on May 3, 2025, Justice Sudhir Agarwal was the chief guest, and former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Jagdambika Pal was the special guest. Furthermore, at a seminar held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi on September 16, 2025, on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, His Excellency Shiv Pratap Shukla, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, was the chief guest, and Member of Parliament Jagdambika Pal was the special guest.
